Thomas studied piano, saxophone and music theory. At school and college he was involved in a variety of music groups, bands and orchestras. He has performed in venues such as St David’s Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and local venues such as the Shire Hall and The Courtyard. Music from his recordings has also been aired on BBC Radio.
Thomas' specialist areas: folk/traditional music; minimal/ambient music; instrumental and primary music teaching.
Thomas has worked in the education sector since 2003 and is an established instrumental tutor. He has also spent many years working as a specialist music teacher and subject coordinator in primary education. Thomas is a published author of a short story and two music books.
